What mysteries are held in the moon?

In the great beyond?

This play is an engrossing coming-of-age story about two teenage boys who want out of their lives

Hal, wants to escape an abusive father, while Scooter, wants a fresh start with people who won't judge him because of his chemical imbalance

On top of this, Scooter's mother must come to grips with the real reason why Scooter's father left them

The play captures in moving detail that painful and heady time when a young person realizes he must create his own life - that he is no longer defined by his history with his parents

The three roles are a perfect challenge for young, talented actors

Awarded Finalist at the 1986 Young Playwrights Festival in New York City, where it was given a staged reading
