The nymphomaniac Lady Parvula tries to seduce the virile young David Tooke whilst his sister imagines herself married to Captain Dick Thoroughfare, heir to the wealthy Catholic, Mrs Hustpierpoint. Secret marriages, pregnancies and excommunications only serve to exacerbate the comic hysteria!
