This is the story of the Prodigal Son in a jazzy musical style and up-dated language

The two soloists, father and son, quarrel and the son goes in search of flesh pots and dancing girls

His money runs out and he returns home, to the delight of his father

Suggested Age Range : 8 - 14. Running Time : 13 minutes. Music : Six lively numbers, written by David Nield, the principal composer of the National Youth Music Theatre. Accompaniment is for piano, with or without additional synthesizer, bass guitar and drums. Set : None needed.
