3 Male 4 Female

Hillary McNeil is a forty-something feminist at the top of her game

She has many close friends, a daughter who's emerging into a strong woman, a devoted lover, and, most importantly, control of her life

Things seem too good to be true

But her world begins to crumble when she gets pregnant

Nick Adams is an academic and although Nick and Hillary are in an exclusive relationship, she refuses to commit to marriage

So he lies to her about having a vasectomy and impregnates her, thinking she will have to marry him
