The Elevator

The Elevator $8.99

Herbert Gardner

Published by Samuel French Inc

5 Male 1 Female

A sinister figure cuts a wire in an elevator which is about to descend

On the way down the elevator stops, and there is no escape

Then a taunting voice calls out; and we learn that the man above nearly went to the chair for a crime he didn't commit because one of the elevator occupants would not speak in his behalf (bad publicity)

The selfishness of the occupants is exposed as the laughing man cuts the cables, stroke by stroke

The final stroke - and the doors open!

The teaser had lowered them while taunting them!
