David Baughan

Published by Cyberpress

1 Male 3 Female

A widow and daughter struggle to survive in frontier 1700s New England

The mother worries certain behaviors in her daughter that may be imaginative, psychotic, or psychic

An itinerant Native American basketmaker visits and helps when the mother is injured

As affection grows between the daughter and basketmaker, old wounds from the mother's past cause her to take drastic action

Only when the basketmaker brings a healing of the spirit can the mother release her past and be fully present with her daughter
