Should he marry her anyway, he will be cut-off from the family fortune

Dearie, their guardian angel has been sent to ensure this marriage happens

Pappy could pay her dowry if he would part with his secret sack of gold, which he’s insanely obsessed with, as are two drifters who have discovered he has it

So, who ends up with the gold?
