My Name Is Such And Such and Other Plays - includes Triptych

Winner of the 1993 Sydney Theatre Critics' Circle Award, My Name is Such and Such weaves a web deception around two characters of such incricacy they find themselves questioning the value of language as a means of communication. Triptych conists of three interconnected plays exploring the issues of identity. Sparring Partner centres around a reclusive chess master who hires a partner to practice his game. As the relationship between the two developes, however, it becomes unclear just who is sparring with whom. In Annette and Annette sexual and emotional exploitation forces two women into an identity crisis.
