Adaptation

This intially appears to be a film version of the book The Orchid Thief by
journalist Susan Orlean (Meryl Streep), but then screenwriter Charles Kaufman (played by Nichola Cage) inserts
himself into the story, and the film develops into a bizarre and imaginative
commentary on the nature and process of film-making itself
